Amy Hardin has over 20 years in the learning and development industry with experience managing and producing training programs for Fortune 100, small and mid-sized companies. Her corporate career began in the telecommunications industry and has spanned Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance and Business Development. Ms. Hardin currently consults with organizations to build or transform their learning and development divisions.
In her career, Ms. Hardin has delivered millions of dollars in cost savings and revenue enhancement, and has directed high volume Corporate University functions. She has led teams to design, develop and deliver measureable training programs, and uses technology creatively for program delivery. Her consulting work has given her a hands-on view of the issues facing today’s organizations, especially through times of rapid change. Ms. Hardin advocates training formats to meet the needs of business professionals, from traditional classroom delivery to innovative virtual methods. Her emphasis on adult relevancy and post-class action plans make her programs highly sought after.
Ms. Hardin graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Mathematics and earned her MBA in Human Resources from the University of Dallas. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Dallas HR. She has been active in Dallas American Society for Training and Development since 1993, served as Vice President–(2005),(2003), and is the recipient of the Dallas ASTD Innovative Award for implementation of the Best Place to Learn Award.. Ms. Hardin is Chair of North Dallas Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award. She is a native Texan and lives with her husband, Andy, in Frisco, Texas.
